Perfect Use of Fullbacks

Beginner Tip 03

This tip tells you how to achieve an offensive predominance with both your fullbacks. (1) Begin with passing as a goalkeeper or center back – provided you are playing with a back four – to the left or right fullback.
Sprint forward with the fullback in possession of the ball parallel to the sideline until the opponent tries a hold-up play. (2) Now pass to the free midfield teammate and keep the ball within your line. Watch the fullback. (3) Pass outside to the fullback sprinting along the sideline and towards the endline in the opponent’s half. (4) The fullback gets the ball to the opponent’s penalty area or uses a low or middle cross to shoot the ball into it. This leads to an offensive predominance and higher chances for scoring goals.

One Touch Football

Beginner Tip 02

By putting this tip into practice, you will play top-notch offensive football and score goals faster. One touch football means passing the ball (low pass, through pass) directly to your teammate at first contact.
As described in tip No. 01 (read here), you use low passes and pass to the next teammate to achieve one touch football.  The resulting high speed in offensive play leads to gaps in the opponent’s defence. Since they have a hard time disturbing your build-up you can score goals faster.

Dominant Low Passes

Beginner Tip 01

This tip tells you how easy it is to control your offence and the opponent. Use low passes (X / A button) and pass to the nearest player, if possible.
This ensures that your teammate gets the ball and you build up the attacks on the opponent’s goal in a systematic and well-controlled way. Remember: An opponent without a ball does not score any goals! Get on the training ground and try it!
